Pogba plans to keep improving

Paul Pogba has predicted that Manchester United will enjoy a successful season after helping his side beat Southampton 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Veteran Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored both the goals on Friday evening, breaking the deadlock by heading in a Wayne Rooney cross, before scoring a penalty after Luke Shaw had been brought down.

Pogba returned to United in a £89million transfer from Juventus earlier this summer having starred for France at Euro 2016.

“It’s great – my debut and we win so I’m very happy with that and very happy for the team,” Pogba said afterwards.

“I came back home and I’m happy with the win and I want to keep getting better and better. I feel very good, maybe at the end I missed a bit of fitness but I was okay, my legs feel good and I can carry on.

“We dream big. United are a big club, I know we will do big things this season.”

United can be backed at 11/4 to win the Premier League title this season and are 1/2 to beat Hull City next weekend in their third match of the campaign.
